Buses award presented to Ben Colson

Norfolk Green founder and former owner Ben Colson won the Services o the Bus Industry Award sponsored by Buses. This marked the culmination of the career of a man who joined the newly created National Bus Company 45 years ago, became a Stagecoach manager in 1987 and in 1996 bought Norfolk Green and developed it into a successful, award-winning business serving sparsely populated country in the east of England. Following a period of ill health, he sold it to Stagecoach late in 2013, shortly after being named that year's Independent Operator of the Year.
