Debut for electrics and StreetDecks

The first four of Go-Ahead London's BYD/Alexander Dennis Enviro200EV electric single-deckers for former Red Arrow routes 507 (Waterloo-Victoria) and 521 (Waterloo-London Bridge) entered service on 30 August, the Tuesday after the bank holiday weekend. The formal start of the new contract for the routes was 27 August and the original stated intention was to introduce the entire fleet over the holiday weekend. But as already reported, complete conversion is now expected later in the year. An official launch was anticipated during their second week in service and the first vehicles entered service without anything to advertise their environmental credentials.
