BYD wins French orders for electric coaches

Two French operators have placed the first orders in Europe for BYD electric tourist coaches. The Nedroma Group, based in Athis-Mons close to Paris Orly airport, is taking 12 coaches from the Chinese manufacturer - the largest order yet placed by a Western operator - and B. E. Green of Yvelines, to the west of Paris, has ordered three plus a 12m BYD eBus electric bus for its 100% electric fleet.
