Power supply remains an obstacle to electrification

I heard recently of a London operator of a fleet of vans that was keen to convert to electric ones but was told that it would be impossible as there is insufficient electricity supply capacity for overnight recharging facilities of the magnitude required. Together with the problems encountered by Go-Ahead London General and Metroline in securing additional garage power supplies, it makes me wonder how difficult it will be to source supplies for the remaining 250 battery single-deckers ready for the 2020 zero-emission zone.
