Germany's Flixbus enters UK with capital connection

The distinctive bright green coaches of Germany's leading express coach operator Flixbus can now be seen on English roads after it launched a low-cost London-Paris service and heralded further expansion with the slogan 'The UK is going green'. Flixbus began running twice daily between the two capitals from late March offering free WiFi, extra legroom and three items of luggage per person. Priced at £9 for a oneway ticket, Flixbus says the service provides connections from France to 60 destinations across six European countries. It uses a real-time GPS tracker system and claims to be able to locate every coach and estimate delays.
