Capoco focuses on cost-effective electric project

Capoco Design, the British engineering consultancy that helped conceive such successful vehicles as the Dennis Dart and Optare Solo, has teamed up with automotive electrics development company Equipmake to develop a cost-effective electric city bus. The project, called Celeb - for Cost-effective Electric Bus - is a year-long study to develop battery electric vehicles at prices that will be attractive to buy and operate. It is supported by national innovation agency Innovate UK.
