One of the only five long wheelbase Alexander RL-bodied Leyland Olympians built for anyone other than Stagecoach has been restored to original condition. Western Travel, the management-owned company that acquired Cheltenham & Gloucester from the National Bus Company, took delivery of the 87-seaters in January 1990. They passed into Stagecoach ownership when the expanding group bought the business in December 1993.
