Terravision fights 'eviction' from Stansted Airport

Italian-owned Terravision is taking legal action after Stansted Airport ordered its services off its land from 13 January. Stansted invited coach operators to tender for concession contracts for use of commercial space at the airport, awarding those for London services to National Express, Comfort DelGro-owned Stansted Citylink and Airport Bus Express, owned by another Italian company, Autostradale. It advised Terravision, which has served the airport since 2003, that its tender was unsuccessful and denied it access after 13 January. It lost access to the coach station next to the main terminal building last October and was operating from a mid-stay car park 2miles away, but after being moved from there it set up two feeder services, one in London between Victoria and Kings Cross where passengers transferred to Stansted Citylink, the other between London Liverpool Street, Stratford and Bishops Stortford railway station. It was advising passengers to allow 5hr transfer between London and Stansted.
