Transport for Ireland is inviting the people of Dublin to choose the new livery for the city's buses, starting with the 120-plus double-deckers that Go-Ahead Group will introduce between November 2018 and February 2019. This follows the announcement (Buses October) that the UK group is the preferred bidder to operate a package of 24 suburban-focused routes in the first phase of a programme to put the entire city network up for competitive tender. One of the routes is a new one, while state-owned Dublin Bus currently operates the other 23. Tfl wants to give the city's buses a new look in place of the navy blue and yellow of Dublin Bus.
