Ledgard remembered 50 years on

The Samuel Ledgard Society marked the 50th anniversary of the end of the Ledgard bus business with a collectors' fair in Pudsey and re-enactment of the final journey from Bradford to Leeds on 14 October, followed on 15 October by a running day centred on Otley. The sole ex-Ledgard vehicle preserved in the operator's livery, Burlingham-bodied Leyland Tiger PS1/1 coach KUP 949, was a static exhibit in Otley.
