Bournemouth PD2 back in summer service

A1950 Bournemouth Corporation Leyland Titan PD2/3 was back in heritage service on five Sundays and one Saturday over the summer holidays. The Bear Cross Bus Company, which takes its name from a district in the Dorset seaside town, was formed in 2014 to restore and operate Bournemouth buses. It had 247 (KEL 133) — with 48-seat full-front Weymann two-door, two-staircase body — recertified late last year and ran it this year between Bournemouth Pier and Hengistbury Head and between Blandford and Swanage.
