A timetable change on 28 May spelt the end of Plymouth Citybus's scenic Go Cornwall double-deck route 71 (Liskeard-Plymouth via Seaton and the Torpoint Ferry). It has been shortened to operate only between Liskeard and Torpoint using single-deckers, with connections for Plymouth at the ferry by other services that continue across the Tamar. The 70 group of services continue to link Plymouth and Cremyll with double-deckers, providing glorious views of Whitsand Bay, but curtailing the 71 loses the opportunity to enjoy spectacular views from the top deck along the coast of south-east Cornwall and ends double-deck operation in the town of Liskeard. This sunny evening view, taken on 26 May, shows Alexander Dennis Enviro400 533 (WJ65 BYZ) descending into Seaton, around 3miles east of Looe.
