L227 glows on Port Panorama

The Merseyside Transport Trust's Port Panorama running day on Easter Sunday was staged again around the North and South Docks in Liverpool. Taking part for the first time was recently restored Merseyside PTE L227 (SKB 224), a Crossley-bodied Leyland Titan PD2/20 new to Liverpool Corporation in 1956. Although the weather was poor for most of the day, it improved markedly by the time this halfcab took to the road, posing here at Regent Road.
