Most central area changes to go ahead

Transport for London has confirmed that most of the changes proposed to routes serving Oxford Street (Look in on London, January) will proceed as planned. The exception is the plan to change route 23 at its western end (diversion to Wembley] and the associated change to route452, which will be considered further in oonjunction with stakeholders. While, on balance, users support most of the planned changes, there was a clear majority against proposed alterations to routes 22 (Putney Common-Piccadilly Circus), 73 (Stoke Newington-Victoria) and C2 (Parliament Hill Fields-Victoria).
