No shelters for car owners

I agree wholeheartedly with Phil Stockley (Inside Track, March) about the importance of bus shelter provision for the starting point of a bus journey and to help promote the effectiveness of buses for transport needs. East Kilbride was a designated new town for Glasgow and has grown constantly since its inception in 1947. But areas added in recent times were not planned with the same thought that East Kilbride Development Corporation gave to those built until the mid-1970s.
