RoadJet thinks big despite Covid

German luxury long-distance coach operator RoadJet is expanding its innovative business despite the pandemic. It launched on 10 August with a single route linking Berlin and Stuttgart via Nuremberg and Leipzig (Global News, September) and continued running during a partial lockdown in November and early December. It starts operating from mid-December between Frankfurt, Mannheim and Karlsruhe with intermediate stops, boosting to eight the number of cities served. By the end of 2021, co-founder Mujib Bazhwal aims to have 30 routes and more coaches. It started with two 15m tri-axle Scania/Ayats Horizon double-deckers.
