Few have followed the independent coach and bus fleets of Essex and East Anglia as long and with such diligence as Geoft Mills, who has written and published this modestly priced book to mark the centenary of Lodge Coaches. He first visited the company-astride his BSA motorbike-in 1963 and has driven many of its coaches, and even a service bus, over the intervening years. He produced a book to mark Lodge's 80th anniversary and has provided the company with 178 photographs of its vehicles - all of the types it has operated between 1945 and 2016 - for display in a small museum at its garage..
