My thanks to Neville Whitmore for photographing this bus stop, which was painted recently into a stone on the side of a house in the village of Handley, near Clay Cross in Derbyshire. For several years, the village had no bus service although many years ago there was an infrequent East Midland route. For the past couple of years, it has again been served by Hulleys' 63/a, although only a couple of times a day, as the main route still omits the village.
