Go North West has a touch of Mancunian orange

Go North West, the new Go-Ahead Group subsidiary that has acquired First Manchester's Queens Road depot, unveiled its new identity when it began operations on 2 June. It has adopted a livery of two-tone grey with orange flashes as a reminder of the colour worn by Greater Manchester buses from the early 1970s to mid-1990s. Interim managing director David Cutts says: 'There is a refurbishment and replacement plan in place to update the current fleet of buses and we look forward to announcing further improvements in the coming weeks.'
