Congestion hits satisfaction ratings

There has been a drop in passengers' overall satisfaction with their bus journeys in England outside the six city regions beyond London, according to the latest survey from statutory watchdog Transport Focus.Compared with 2016, the range of results across 27 local authority areas last year widened from between 82% and 95% to between 78% and 94%, mainly because traffic congestion appears to have worsened outside the city regions, leading to less satisfaction with punctuality.
