By chance, John Whittingham came upon a most respectful gesture when he caught a Nottingham tram past the Barton plc head office in Chilwell on 19 February.Preserved Barton 645 (E645 DAU), a Plaxton Paramount-bodied DAF MB230, was parked outside and - as he had his camera with him - he resolved to break his return journey and take some photographs.
