Flixbus launches US network as First reviews Greyhound future

Germany's Flixbus has expanded to the United States to compete head-on with Stagecoach-owned Megabus.com and FirstGroup-owned Greyhound, just as First has hired consultants to review Greyhound's future. The West Coast is the focus for Flixbus'soperations and the coaches are painted in the same bright green and orange livery as those serving routes across Europe. Services started from Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Phoenix and San Diego on 31 May.
