As with previous edition, the 2018 Hong Kong Buses Yearbook is written mainly in a Chinese language, interspersed with some of the picture captions also in English. Danny Chan's introductory chapter is presented additionally in English, commenting on the London Ultra Low Emission Zone, his visit to last year's Buses Festival at Gaydon and to the Tokyo Motor Show. He gives an Asian visitor's perspective of visiting London, telling us that his perception of air pollution in the UK capital over the past 20 years has found him needing to wash himself from head to toe, including ear canals and nostrils, on returning to his hotel each night after a day spent photographing red double-deckers.
