The 16th Session of the IMO Sub-Committee on Radiocommunications and Search and Rescue COMSAR

The 16th session of the IMO Sub-Committee on Radiocommunications and Search and Rescue was held at IMO Headquarters in London during the period 12th to 16th March, 2012. It was attended by representatives from 73 Member States and 28 Observer Organizations. Jean-Charles Leclair was representing the Association. The item of the agenda for the session of most interest to IALA members was the continuation of the development of the concept of e-Navigation.%La 16ème session du Sous-Comité des Radiocommunications et de la Recherche et du Sauvetage de l'O.M.I. s'est tenue du 12 au 16 mars 2012 au siège de l'O.M.I. 73 délégations représentant des Etats Membres et 28 délégations représentant des Organisations bénéficiant du statut d'observateur participaient à la réunion. Jean-Charles Leclair représentait l'Association. Le point présentant le plus d'intérêt pour les Membres de l'A.I.S.M. concernait la poursuite du développement du concept de « e-Navigation ».
