摘要

Pinar Balat has a BSc from the Faculty of Architecture, Middle East Technical University, Ankara, a Master of Architecture from Universidad Politecnica de Madrid, and a Master of Science Degree on Architecture from Delft University of Technology. She investigated how to include low-income groups in privileged urban locations through architectural interventions, in specific through the re-design of an existing street market in the Netherlands. Currently she works as an architect at de Architekten Cie in Amsterdam, focusing mainly on urban design and collective housing.
