Peter Hall: The Man Who Flew to Australia and Back [Almost]the Following Day

I describe briefly how Peter Hall came to edit Built Environment and how he shaped the journal's development over nearly four decades. I then try to give something of the flavour of working with Peter on his own books and those of others. Always his prose was impeccable and, most importantly readable, while his generosity to towards the work of others was remarkable.
