At the end of every month, accountants throughout the Caradon group of companies sit down at their PCs and fill in standard financial reports using Lotus Notes. The reports are transmitted back to Caradon's headquarters in Woking, Surrey, and consolidated using the Hyperion Enterprise program, which allows group chief accountant Andy Moss and his team to compile and compare monthly accounts for all the subsidiaries within the lightside building materials empire.
