Squibb Demolition has clawed its way up the rankings to fifth place, up from seventh last year. The firm's turnover was £35.5m for the year to July 2008, an increase of about £10m on the previous year.rnHugh Minnett, the firm's business development manager, says Squibb has had an excellent workload recently and although he fears difficult times ahead, it has a couplernof unique selling points that will see it through.rn"We have been relatively busy. We have been working on lots of sites that have been cleared and not developed, and that makes me worry that when the market comes back, developers and housebuilders are going to start work on these sites that are ready to go and we demolition contractors will not bernrequired. It may mean that the recession goes on longer for us than for the rest of the industry."
