NHBC faces contempt of court claim

The National House Building Council is facing a contempt of court claim, after becoming embroiled in a court dispute with a small builder. Midlands builder Michael Jackson lodged the claim with the attorney general last week, over claims the NHBC failed to disclose full information during a court case between the two parties. Last month the NHBC was slammed in court for levying "grossly disproportionate" charges on Jackson, after ordering repairs on one of his projects.
