Court date set for five HS2 legal challenges

Five legal challenges to the government's decision to go ahead with the £32bn high-speed rail line to Birmingham.and the north of England will be heard together hi the High Court in December, writes Allister Hayman.Five separate requests for judicial reviews have been lodged by organisations challenging the government's decision to press ahead with the High-Speed 2 line (HS2), with all five cases to be heard together over a seven-day period in the High Court of Justice, starting on 3 December.
