Chancellor George Osborne stood up to deliver a much-trailed Budget this week that left the construction industry feeling underwhelmed.Osborne made boosting infrastructure a key part of the Budget statement - and this was welcomed - but failed to detail the concrete measures hoped for to back up his rhetoric.Apart from the announcement that the planning reforms would take effect next week, the most eye-catching measure for the sector had been announced earlier in the week by David Cameron when he laid out plans to part privatise the UK's trunk road network.
