Battersea crane owner cleared

The owner of a crane that collapsed in Battersea six year ago was cleared of unlawful killing this week during an inquest into the deaths of two people. Crane operator Jonathan Cloake, 37, and bus driver Michael Alexa, 23, both died after the crane collapsed on 26 September 2006.
