The Oak Meadow School in Wolverhampton, designed and built by contractor Thomas Vale and architect Architype, is set to become one of the first schools in the UK to be awarded the Passivhaus standard. The school cost £5.1m to develop, which the firms said included no additional cost to make the required energy efficiency savings.
