ISG eyes new pay system

ISG is the latest main contractor to consider adopting a reverse factoring payment system for its supply chain, the company's chief executive has said. Speaking to Building following the publication of the firm's results this week (see page 16), David Lawther said the firm was "having a dialogue" with banks about introducing a reverse factoring system, but he said this would not lead to an extension of its payment terms, which are currently between 45 and 60 days.
