Profit at architect Make more than doubled last year, with turnover in India rising tenfold. The firm's accounts for the calendar year to 31 December 2012 showed pre-tax profit at the business rose 166% to £482,000 with turnover slipping 1% to £14.5m. The accounts said revenue in India had risen more than tenfold from £60,000 the previous year to £778,000. However, turnover in the rest of Asia as a whole shrank by 48% to £1.4m with a number of stalled jobs in China blamed for the decline.
