The performance gap - what is the solution? The gap between predicted and actual energy performance of buildings has moved up the political agenda. At last year's Ecobuild the government announced funding into the poor as-built performance of homes. Government Soft Landings, which will be compulsory from 2016 is an initiative to tackle the performance of new government buildings.
