Stanton Williams beats revenue target with £7m turnover

Architect Stanton Williams beat its revenue target last year with the firm increasing turnover to £7m. The former Stirling prize winner had set itself an income target of £6m but hiked its revenues by 18% to exceed the figure by Elm in the year to September 2014. Pre-tax profits slipped to £697,000 from £872,000 but the firm said it was now growing its business with new work which it said was "particularly strong, having received a majority of our work through invitation, a reflection of the growing reputation of the practice" It said the majority of its projects were in the £20m-£60m price bracket.
