Holcim and Lafarge ink deal

Holcim and Lafarge have announced the completion of their global merger. The two companies said that all conditions for completion of the merger had been fulfilled following the exchange offer and issuance of Holcim shares to Lafarge shareholders. Eric Olsen has been appointed as chief executive of the joint company LafargeHolcim following the successful merger.
