Labour's former spin doctor Alastair Campbell has admitted the party did not do enough to boost housebuilding when last in power. Speaking after a talk at Ecobuild, Campbell told Building: "I think that there is an acknowledgement that we could and should and would have liked to have seen more rapid expansion of housebuilding. The next Labour government, if there is one, will do that."
