BDP doubles pre-tax profit in 2015 ahead of Japanese takeover

BDP more than doubled its pre-tax profit in 2015, its final year as an independent business, before being taken over by Japanese engineer Nippon Koei for £102m three months ago. In the 2015 calendar year BDP posted pre-tax profit of £4.9m, up from £2.3m, while turnover jumped 27% to just over £83m. The number of staff at the country's third-biggest architect went up by more than 100 to 897.
