Storm hits crane on Bouygues site

High winds from Storm Katie have part-collapsed a crane on a Bouygues site in Greenwich, south London. The jib of the crane snapped during high winds of up to 70mph earlier this Bouygues confirmed the site was a mixed-use scheme for client Family Mosaic and that there were no injuries. A Bouygues spokesperson said: "We are carrying out an urgent investigation following an incident involving a crane at one of our sites in London, caused by the recent extreme adverse weather conditions.
