Thames Valley Police has released details of the demolition worker who died following the partial collapse of Didcot A power station. The man has been formally identified as 53-year-old Michael Collings from the Cleveland area of the north-east of England. As Building went to press on Tuesday, the search was continuing for three other missing workers at the site, who Oxfordshire police believed were "highly unlikely" to be alive following the collapse. The accident happened last Tuesday while demolition contractor Coleman & Company was preparing the building for a controlled demolition for client RWE nPower.
