"Home heating methods are becoming an increasingly hot topic - no pun intended. As an underfloor heating (UFH) provider we've been extolling the virtues of moving away from convection-based systems for years, but up until now it's only really been luxury developers who have chosen to install this 'bespoke' radiant heating solution. I believe that's all about to change though. "The UK Government's Future Homes Standard is currently out for consultation. In short it will require new build homes to be future-proofed with low carbon heating systems and deliver world-leading levels of energy efficiency. It will be introduced in 2025, but from next year, we'll start to see the path being laid toward delivery - preparing supply chains, training installers, etc.
