Sites braced for closure as virus threatens recovery

The world's largest geotechnical contractor is bracing itself for sites to be shut down if the coronavirus outbreak worsens. Keller, which has annual revenues of around £2.3bn and works in more than 40 countries across six continents, has a total of around 10,000 staff. Chief executive Michael Speakman told Building that he was worried about the impact of the virus on the company's workload which sees it carry out around 7,000 contracts a year ranging in value from £50,000 to £50m.
