Morgan Sindall's property services arm moves into the black

Morgan Sindall's property services operation has returned to profit after posting losses last year, the company said. In a trading update ahead of its AGM being held in London last week, the contractor said the division had moved into positive territory after last year's £1.3m loss on turnover of £66m. Operating margins across the construction and infrastructure division also improved in the early months of the current financial year, building on 2017's 1.5%. Last year it generated operating profit of £20.4m on £1.4bn of turnover.
