A strong performance for civil engineering activity last month was offset by a slowdown in the growth of housing and commercial, according to the latest IHS Markit/CIPS data. Overall, construction grew for the ninth consecutive month. Coal Drops Yard architect Heatherwick Studio saw pre-tax profit plunge in the year to March 2018, falling 82% to £1.7m on turnover down 30% to £19m.
