Arup names new group chair

Arup has appointed a new group chair to take the reins from April. Alan Belfield is currently the chief operating officer and deputy chair at the £1.6bn-turnover engineering and design consultant. Belfield joined Arup in 1992, and his previous experience at the firm has involved leading the group's operations in the UK, the Middle East and Africa.
