This week's #buildingdoodle is by Martin Wood of Bryden Wood, and is of the MEP systems and key plant design for Circle Reading hospital. He says: "The sketch shows an innovative integrated solution that avoids a central plant area; distributing critical systems intelligently to improve whole-life performance; minimising clinical downtime during maintenance; and pushing air shorter distances, with fewer cross-overs to reduce building height and increase energy efficiency".
