London office market 'buoyant' despite Brexit

A shortage of quality office space under construction in London, with much of it already pre-let, has meant the capital continued to defy any Brexit gloom last year, according to real estate consultant Knight Frank, writes Louise Dransfield. Of the 259 developments now under construction in the capital, the vast majority -187 - are residential schemes, with the remainder commercial schemes. The development pipeline has meant that more than a quarter of these buildings are not due to complete until 2020.
