Editorial

摘要

Roomvent 2009, the 11th conference in the ROOMVENT series, which started in 1987 on the initiative of the SCANVAC, was held during May 24-27, 2009 in Busan, Korea. People spend most of their times indoors, either in buildings or vehicle compartments. Indoor environment of high quality becomes a necessity for occupants' productivity, comfort and well-being. To provide good indoor air quality by energy efficient ventilation of buildings has always been an important issue. Therefore these series of conferences are to establish a forum where experts could meet and exchange information on new research results.
